Halo 5: Guardians Campaign Footage

I know I’ve been quiet again lately which wasn’t the plan but it was unavoidable but for far less dramatic reasons than the last time. That’s not to say I have much to talk about. So instead I’m just going to share the Halo 5: Guardians campaign footage that’s found its way on to YouTube. I cannot wait for this game.

And I may have got a little over excited about the return of a certain ODST.

Arkham Knight Gameplay Trailer

Warning: May cause sticky pants.

This game looks epic. I mean really epic. And the combat seems to have been refined to the point of perfection. I cannot wait for this game. Or for someone to give me an XBox One to play it on. Hint hint.

Halo 2 Anniversary Cinematic Trailer

I love the Halo games. Even Halo 2 which was pretty weak compared to its siblings. Even the huge graphics boost the second game got over its older brother couldn’t hide the fact that the game felt rushed and the story a little confused. I’ve played it through many times since it’s release in 2004 and even now, knowing what I know, I’m always left feeling dissatisfied and I rush through it to get it out-of-the-way so I can enjoy Halo 3 and 4.

Halo 2 Anniversary promises not only a complete re-imagining of the cut scenes but a tweak to the story to explain itself a little clearer. Even if the latter turns out to be untrue and it’s still the mess it’s always been, at least it’ll look fricking gorgeous judging by this cinematic trailer.

Halo: The Master Chief Collection

Ever since Halo 5 was announced for the XBox One, rumors have been abound that an emulator would be made available so the previous Halo games could be played on the next-gen console. It looks like this was halfway to the truth. Revitalised versions of Halo: CE, Halo 2, Halo 3 and Halo 4 will be made available to buy as Halo: The Master Chief Collection. There’s already been grumbles that Halo: ODST and Halo: Reach won’t be included but seeing as the Master Chief isn’t in those games, as great as they are, it would seem a bit daft. Plus it’s churlish to ask for Mars when you’ve been given the Earth. And four games for £50 is pretty tidy.

This is all adding up to one inescapable truth…I’m saving up for an XBox One as of now. It was always going to happen: I wanted an XBox One anyway but throw in Halo 5, Batman: Arkham Knight and now The Master Chief Collection and I’m about to be very poor for a very long time.

Anyway, enjoy the trailer. For the die hards out there this is a very familiar scene remastered beautifully.

ODAM Episode 6 – The Bitterness Show

Another month and another show. This episode we’re all full of bile and bitterness and it’s all about rants.

It seems that we’re all a very grumpy bunch of wargamers. We’re probably over tired and need a nap. Or maybe rum. Anyway, hold onto your fan rage gland and get comfy for a rantapalooza of pissing and moaning about GW, Spartan, Mantic and more.

As usual expect adult language and humour from the start.
